  • BLUE RIDGE SCENIC RAILROAD FIREWORKS!

    oin the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway as they celebrate the birth of our great nation on Saturday, July 2nd for their Fireworks Special Train.

    The train will depart Blue Ridge at 7:00 pm to enjoy the great Copper Basin Fireworks display just after dark and then return to Blue Ridge by 11:00pm.

    Bring your lawn chair and sit outside the train to view the fireworks! Activities in downtown McCaysville/Copperhill when you arrive. Lots of vendors for food and things to do for the kids until the fireworks start.

  • GEORGIA APPLE FESTIVAL, ELLIAY, GA

    Georgia might be known as the “Peach State,” but it can also produce some mighty fine apples. One bite into an apple grown in Ellijay, Georgia, and you’ll be saying, “How ‘bout them apples!” And that apple will taste so good that you might want to party. You’re in luck, that’s exactly what the Georgia Apple Festival is for. Alongside plenty of fresh apples, the event includes more than 300 vendors boasting arts and crafts, food and more.

  • DANCING GOATS FOLK FEST, ELLIJAY, GA

    This festival celebrates a lot of old arts and crafts ways that shouldn’t be forgotten. We'll also have food vendors, children's activities, and Sunday Gospel Brunch.

  • HOLLA YELLA LIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL, ELLIJAY, GA

    Holla Yella Music Festival returns for the 2nd consecutive year and will be held in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains at White Path Creek Farms in Ellijay. This year’s event will take place over the weekend of June 10-12, 2022. The festival will be a multi-day event and will host a diverse line-up of national and regional music acts in the genres of Bluegrass, Americana, Indie, Blues, Jam Band and Roots.

  • JEEPFEST, JASPER, GA

    JeepFest raises money for a variety of charities that share one thing in common…. they take care of kids. Since the event is hosted by the Sheriff's Foundation, a non-profit organization, the Board of Directors works each year to identify needs in local, state, and national youth needs support. Some of the charities that we help include the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes, Special Olympics for Pickens County, the Boys and Girls Club, the Jasper Youth Sports Association and much more!

    Helen offers many sights and attractions to keep one busy when the balloons are not flying.

    Ballooning in Helen is challenging because the Alpine Village is surrounded by Mountains, National Forest and State Parks. However it is worth the added effort when you can look down just above the tree tops at the mountains, the vast woodlands, the streams and the waterfalls. You might even catch a glimpse of a group of deer or watch a hawk or eagle snare its dinner.
