Here, twisted knots of mountain laurel, rock outcroppings, and gentle wildflower meadows dictate the flow of play. Among the massive bunkers and hardwoods, you’ll discover golf in its purest state — and an experience unlike any other. Tightly mowed zoysia fairways and manicured bentgrass greens create an incredible surface for play as the course winds along the river valley and into the landscape’s secluded hills and draws. Native grasses, wicked bunkers, and exceptional long-range mountain views complete the experience of this award-winning course.

BRBR is a single family owned and operated business. The Fosters. Thomas Foster has been in the marine industry for over 25 years, he is a master certified mechanic. All mechanical services are taken care of on sight by Thomas. We are a one stop shop! BRBR offers a variety of watercrafts to rent, at various price ranges. Renters can choose from a variety of boats; from Ski and Wake Boats to Pontoon Boats to Deck Boats, & PWCs. BRBR offers water skis, knee boards, wake boards, and tubes, wake surf boards, lily pads, noodles etc. all for rent. The need for rental boats on the LBR is great, and our fleet continues to grow to meet the high demand.

SPRINGER MOUNTAIN

Access to the starting point of the Appalachian Trail is in southern Fannin County at Springer Mountain. From Blue Ridge, take Aska Road 13.5 miles until it dead ends into Newport Road. Turn right on Newport Road, go 4.5 miles until it dead ends into Doublehead Gap. Turn right on Doublehead Gap and go 2 miles to FS Road 42 (on the left). Turn left and go approximately 6.5 to 7 miles to the parking area on your left. A short hike from the parking lot (across the street) leads to the summit.

There are a multitude of long day-hike trails in Blue Ridge, but if you want just a touch of Mother Nature’s beauty before you hop aboard the train or head into downtown for dinner then these five hikes under five miles are your best bet.

27th Annual Rodeo August 18 & 19th, 2023

We’ve had many incredible memories with our Rodeo over the last few decades. Each year brings something new and exciting! Our local Kiwanis Rodeo has traditionally been one of the top small town rodeos throughout the Southeast. This event draws approximately 2500 people per night!

The annual Kiwanis Rodeo is ALWAYS held on the Third FULL Weekend of August and is open on both Friday and Saturday nights, rain or shine at our Fairgrounds! Our Rodeo consist of Professional rodeo cowboys and cowgirls that compete in a variety of events, including bull riding. We always have a Professional Rodeo Clown that keeps us all on our toes and laughing. All of the events are family friendly and are enjoyed by all ages.

Join us on the Kiwanis Blues Train on September 15, 2023. Get ready to have some fun while helping us raise money for a great cause; Ferst Readers. You will board our beautiful Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad at the historic depot in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. Your train ride consists of a one hour journey along the Toccoa River through the North Georgia countryside. During your ride you will enjoy live entertainment on each car, appetizers and soft drinks, beer and wine. Upon your return prepare yourself for the Block Party! Passengers will enjoy a boxed dinner; with beer, wine or soft drinks and listen to a live band.

Hello, I'm Caleb! I started my carving career about 15 years ago in Blue Ridge, GA. It had been my "side job", in addition to working at a Christian Camp and beekeeping. In 2018, I married my beautiful bride, Nikki, then moved to Montana to live on her family's farm. I kept a few hives there, but felt carving would be the better way to provide for our family, in addition to working on the farm. We love the Blue Ridge Mountains and felt led by God to move our family back to the area in 2020. We are now located again in Blue Ridge.

Blue Ridge is recognized as one of the top arts towns in Georgia, and is also one of the Top Ten Craft Towns in the country. The natural beauty of the area draws artists, potters, musicians, creative enterprises and the people who appreciate them. Blue Ridge offers a unique blend of arts and entertainment.

Mercier Orchards is a family & veteran-owned and operated apple orchard now in its 4th generation. Started back in 1943 by Bill & Adele Mercier, Mercier Orchards is now celebrating 80 years of fruitful harvest! The combination of our U-PICK events, Bakery & Market Cafe, Market Store, and now our Farm Winery makes us a great choice for a day trip by yourself or with the family!
