Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza opened up in November of 2018 and is located at the corner of River Street and Main Street, anchoring the square in downtown Ellijay. Since then, the wood fired oven from Naples, Italy has been serving authentic old world pizza using only the highest quality and locally sourced ingredients.

Ellijay Wood Fired Pizza is located in a newly restored early nineteenth century former hotel and restaurant built at the height of the timber industry in the southern Appalachians and with the wealth that it brought. The restoration and renovation reflects the rugged mountain life in a thriving but remote town while modernizing the building to create a uniquely hip and lively space. This is complimented by the cuisine, which utilizes ancient cooking methods with modern, all natural flavors. Simple food with a modern twist.

The Cantaberry has 2 convenient locations, one in the downtown square of Ellijay, GA Established in 2008 , a second location in the heart of downtown Blueridge, GA opened in 2013.

Kasei Sushi and Sake opened in March 2020 with the goal of bringing fresh fish, unique asian-inspired drinks and a world class sake experience to the north Georgia mountains. Located in Ellijay, Georgia, a quaint and historic small town that boasts some of the country’s best mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking, Kasei offers several vegetarian, pescetarian, and vegan friendly options along with world class Japanese cuisine.

High Mountain Bread is a rustic, local eatery that recently had its soft open in East Ellijay, Georgia with a focus on ready-made breakfast and lunch, seasonal specials, and artisan bread to satisfy cravings.

Whiskey & Water’s Seafood and Bourbon Bar is bringing the best of Americas Coasts to the North Georgia Mountains. Set inside a tastefully renovated, historic 1937 Post Office, guests will enjoy the most Original cocktails, great wine, a wide selection of whiskeys and bourbons from around the globe and only the best quality, sustainable seafood from the nations top providers. With an emphasis on only the freshest ingredients and classically salty vibes, Whiskey & Water will transport you back to the golden ages of Americas’ Coastlines.

Our menu is globally influenced with a southern twang. We are proud of our local farmers and suppliers. We use seasonal products whenever possible supporting our local economy, farmer and artisan. We work diligently to grow this list of providers every season. A 20-year veteran food writer and researcher, one of the founding Partners of the group, Michelle Moran works to discover new producers and products to work with while also developing the company’s own heritage production of rabbit, honey and quail. She is the perfect partner for founding Chef/Owner Danny Mellman who continues to oversee the culinary group after more than a decade.

The Pink Pig was originally built around 1950 as a country store and grist mill. It was later purchased by the Holloway family in 1967. Pit-cooked BBQ, Bud’s Original sauce, and homemade Brunswick Stew, slow-cooked in a cast iron pot, makes this restaurant a local icon and tourist treasure. Founded by Bud Holloway, the tradition has been passed to his granddaughter, Samantha and her husband Jacob.

Buckley Vineyards came to be after acquiring the old Henry Evans homestead property, with its’ beautiful Turkey Creek setting and mountain views. We knew this place was something special and needed to be shared. Kevin’s love of gardening led to planting a vineyard and from there everything unfolded. With the encouragement of friends and family, we are now ready to share our fabulous wines in this gorgeous place.

We are a Family owned and operated vineyard and winery located in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The rolling hills provide a perfect location for growing quality wine grapes. We invite you to come out for a tasting or a glass, while enjoying the beautiful scenery, and on weekends, enjoy live music entertainment from a great array of Georgia musicians.

Our hand crafted wines are curated and made on premise by our winemaker, McKenzie. Majoring in Bio Chemistry from Loyola University Chicago, she then went on to study Enology (the study of wines) from Texas Tech. Being one of the only female winemakers in Georgia, she is also one of the only formally educated winemakers in Georgia. McKenzie is a certified supertaster.

Mastering the harmony of preserving the wines' glorious fruit notes balanced against aging techniques such as oak or stainless, McKenzie's approach to winemaking showcases her appreciation for the wine's natural properties and upholding strict vineyard policies. Working only with the best fruit grown from certified vineyards following rigorous viticulture programs, Fainting Goat Vineyards is dedicated to bringing quality wines to our region. Taste her new world approach to winemaking while paying homage to our beautiful state of Georgia.

Ott Farms and Vineyard is located on 20 acres with one of North Georgia's most beautiful mountain views. We currently have 6 acres of French American hybrids and Vinifera grapes including: Seyval Blac, Traminette, Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin, Lenoire and Cabernet Franc.

Welcome to Engelheim Vineyards. We are located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Ellijay Georgia. Our focus is to grow outstanding grapes to produce the highest quality of wine. Our objective is to give all glory to God while integrating our German heritage. We invite you to visit us at our tasting room where we are open 7 days a week from 12:30 - 6:00 PM. We offer a large variety of vinifera wines, made from our 15 acres of estate-grown grapes.

As the legend goes, two retired beer enthusiasts were learning how to brew in an outdoor shower. One day, an argument started about what to throw in the mix. During the argument, one of their wives told them that they sound like a couple of Grumpy Old Men. The name stuck.

Grumpy Old Men Brewing was officially established on July 4th, 2013 when those same grumpy old men shipped their first legal brew. Their beers quick became a staple of the North Georgia beer scene. When they decided they were ready to retire again, the two Grumpy Old Men handed over the taps to a new grumpy old man and his crabby old lady. The two original grumpy old men still enjoy the beer, just from the other side of the bar.

Since our founding in 2013, we strive to bring people together over delicious beer and unique community. With 24 taps, you'll be able to have one of our flagships, like Choco Blanco White Chocolate Wheat Ale, Scentsation Double IPA, or Hell's Holler Porter, or try one our seasonal rotations. Whether you're just learning to love craft beer or have been drinking for decades, we will be sure to have something on tap that you'll love. Our mission statement will always remain the same.

Cartecay River Brewing Co. is a 4 barrel craft brewery located in Ellijay, Geogia where we have combined our love of the wild beauty of the Appalachian Mountains and the beautiful rivers that run through our community, with our passion for craft beer.

Owner & Brewmaster Brooks Wade first learned to brew in college from one of his Chemistry Professors. After a few years of home brewing, one of his good friends opened Destin Brewery in Destin Florida. This put the brewery bug in the back of Brooks’ mind. A few years later the opportunity presented itself in Ellijay, and the decision was made to take the plunge into brewery ownership.
